Rachel Baker provides technology services to small businesses via her company Plugged In Consulting.
Rachel teams her 12 years of IT Administration experience with 15 years of freelancing web development for a very broad range of knowledge. She currently focuses on help desk IT services for both Windows and Apple OSX, data backup solutions, Google Apps/Hosted Exchange setups & migrations, and WordPress migrations & security.
Prior to starting Plugged In Consulting, Rachel was employed as an IT Consultant for Small Businesses with PC Discovery, a boutique IT consulting company in Chicago. She is a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist and Microsoft Certified Professional.
Rachel has given presentations on keeping your WordPress site secure as well as Google Apps changing business communications. She is very active in the technology community in Chicago and is also the Co-Founder of the Chicago Nerd Social Club, where she hosts events for nerds.
